Privacy Policy

Relationship Chart Maker ("this site") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This policy explains how data is handled, how cookies are used, and which third-party services receive any data. The policy may change without notice, with new terms taking effect from the date they are posted on this page.

1. Information We Collect

This site does not require user registration. All diagram data (names, relationships, layout, colors, uploaded images) is stored entirely in your browser's LocalStorage and is never sent to or stored on our servers. Unpublished creative material and sensitive organizational information stay on your device.

3. About Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4). GA4 uses cookies for traffic data collection, but data is gathered anonymously without identifying individuals, and IP addresses are anonymized. See Google's Policies and Terms. To opt out, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Text submitted to AI features

When you use the AI relationship chart generator, the synopsis, setting text, or character information you provide is forwarded through Cloudflare Workers to an AI API. We do not retain the text after processing, but the AI API provider may briefly retain processing logs per their own policy. Do not submit personal information, confidential information, or content that infringes on third-party copyrights.

7. About Survey Responses

This site may display an optional survey to help improve the service. You can use all features without responding. The current survey asks what kind of chart you made and whether overlapping lines or relationship labels made it hard to read. Only if you answer yes, it asks what overlapped and when it happened (multiple choices), and which experience best describes the impact (one choice). A free-text comment of up to 200 characters is optional. Along with your answers, we send node count, edge count, elapsed time, language, Premium usage, site usage count, survey trigger, screen-width category, survey version, and editor version. Your chart title and diagram data, including names and relationship lines, are not sent. Your name, email address, and IP address are not automatically included in the survey answer data. Do not enter personal information in the free-text response.

Survey responses are stored in Cloudflare D1 and used only for service-improvement analysis. They are not used by third parties or for advertising. Responses are stored for 12 months and then deleted. If you select Do not show again, the survey will not be displayed to you again.

8. Stripe and payment information

When you purchase a Premium plan (lifetime $19.99 / monthly $4.99), payment is processed by Stripe. Card numbers and expiration dates are never sent to or stored by this site — they are handled entirely within Stripe's secure environment. We retain only payment status, subscription status, and the customer identifier needed to provide premium access.
